In-Store Purchases
You can make payments on SplitPay via a personal debit card or credit card. You cannot make SplitPay payments with a business debit card, ACH, or by check. Additionally, Bread does not accept Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) payment cards.
Please wait a few minutes before requesting a new mobile verification code as you may receive multiple texts with different codes all at once. The phone number you provide must be a mobile number that is able to receive text messages.
You are given 5 attempts to validate your mobile verification code before being blocked for 15 minutes. If you are still not receiving a mobile verification code, we recommend you request a new verification code by selecting ‘Resend code’.

SplitPay is a payment option that enables you to pay for your purchase over 6 weeks without paying interest. Your purchase will be divided into 4 equal payments, with the first payment due date check-out. The remaining payments will be billed bi-weekly to your personal credit card or debit card.
Bread® offers payment solutions that help you make purchases with easy-to-understand payments. Bread products include the Bread Installment Loan, with terms from 3 to 48 months and Bread SplitPay, with 4 bi-weekly payments of 25% of the purchase amount. Please note that installment loans and SplitPay offers may vary by retailer.
You can make payments on Bread installment loans via ACH or a personal debit card. You cannot make payments on Bread installment loans with a credit card, business debit card, Bill Pay, or by check. Additionally, Bread does not accept Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA) payment cards.
Bread offers installment loans that allow you to make a lump sum purchase which you can then pay back over time with equal monthly payments (or installments). Installment loans may be available at participating retailers for terms from 3-48 months. Please note that terms may vary by retailer.
The amount you can spend in-store with Bread is based on your eligibility and the payment plan you select. If you are eligible for a Bread payment plan, you’ll also be provided with the amount you are eligible to spend using Bread when selecting a payment plan option. Your payment amount will be based on your final purchase amount and your loan will not be completed until you checkout with your confirmation code at the register in the retailer’s physical store location.
Once you start your application, you’ll be prompted to enter your personal information. Based on the information you enter you will be presented with any available payment plans that you qualify for with Bread. You will continue by selecting the payment plan options you would like. If SplitPay is offered and you select that option, you will be required to enter in your payment method before checking out at the store. You will not be responsible for payment until you complete your purchase at the register in the retailer’s store location. You’ll be provided with a confirmation code after selecting your payment plan option. This confirmation code is valid at the at the retailer you initially scanned the QR Code in to apply. The confirmation code will expire 12 hours from the time of application. You will need to present your confirmation code and your valid government photo identification in order to check out with your selected Bread payment plan.
